In the unlikely event that we have to close school for any reason, parents will be informed via email and we will post updates on our Facebook page.
In the event of closure, we will endeavour, where possible, to provide online learning for all children.
Our nursery children will have suitable work available on eylog. This will give parents ideas of suitable activities that they can do with their children and a project for them to complete.
For all other classes, teachers will invite children to an online Teams meeting at 9am. This will be an input session which will explain the home learning for the day. Children in reception, year 1 and 2 will also have an online phonics lesson at this time.
Following the online session, children will be set a project to complete at home. Teachers will be available on Teams throughout the day if parents have any questions about the home learning. When children return to school, they can bring their completed home learning projects to share with the teacher if they wish.
If for any reason your child cannot access the Teams and therefore cannot access their home learning, they can complete one of their topic based homework tasks which can be found in their homework book.
