Mental health and wellbeing

At St Joseph’s we have a whole school approach to supporting mental health and wellbeing. We want all of our children to understand that emotions are a normal part of everyday life and that everyone has big feelings. It is our aim to support all of our children to recognise that we all go through life’s ‘ups and downs’ and at times this can be overwhelming. We encourage our children to use a range of strategies when they have big feelings and actively promote that it is OK to ask for help and have a little more emotional support when needed.

We are proud to be part of Our lady of Lourdes Multi Academy Trust who offer a great online resource to support parents and children with emotions and wellbeing. https://mentalhealthandwellbeing.space/
