Keep up your hard work on fractions!

Please go on to:

Today we are looking at the next lesson. Please click on Week 1 and then watch the video for Lesson 4 Count in tenths.

While you are watching the video, it might tell you to pause it at certain points and complete some questions. Please take a look at the question sheet I attached below called ‘Count in tenths’. This sheet can also be downloaded from the White Rose website. Once you have finished the questions, you can check your answers using the answer sheet. If you are struggling while you are doing the worksheet, take another look at the video. If you’re really not sure, you could miss a question out and go back to it at the end. Don’t worry if you are finding some questions difficult, just try your best with it! smiley

Here is a screenshot of the video from the White Rose website.

Take a look at the document below to find out what you are doing for your English work.

This week we are learning about the religion, Islam.

First, read through the PowerPoint called ‘Places of Worship - The Mosque’.

Here are a few video clips to watch as well. They are only short clips.

There are more videos on BBC Bitesize about Islam if you want to find out more information.

Once you have read through the PowerPoint and watched the video clips, have a go at labelling the different parts of a mosque. You can check your answers on the second page of that document.

Then write a few sentences to describe any similarities or differences you can think of between a mosque and a church. Think about the different rooms, the Holy book, how people pray. If you can remember the work we did on Judaism earlier in the year, you could also try and compare synagogues, the Jewish place of worship, with mosques and churches.

Your new topic for Science this term is called Light and Dark. The knowledge organiser for this topic is on the Easter Holiday Homework page. Have a read of it at some point if you haven't yet.

Please read through the PowerPoint that Mrs Clayton has given you, which I have attached below. Then have a go at the 2 activity sheets and the sorting cards.
