Word of the Week – Ascension
Please visit YouTube to view our word of the week video on Ascension. Reflect this week by praying the feather prayer. You will need feathers and a straw. Think about how the disciples must have felt when Jesus ascended into heaven. Take a feather and gently place it one end of the straw. Now, think how you would feel if Jesus was not with you. Blow gently into the straw to release the feather. This symbolises Jesus’ ascension but also that he will never leave your side.
