Did Dragons Exist?
Welcome back! We hope you all had a lovely and restful half term holiday. This term we will be focusing on our new Topic 'Did Dragons Exist?'
During this topic we will be looking at different reptiles and real life dragons! We will have the opportunity to see and touch some dragons on our trip to Willow Tree Farm on 5th March. We can't wait to see some dragons in real life!
We will also be looking at castles and how they have changed over time. Including exploring who lives in a castle and what the different roles these people had. We will be making our own flags and studying the flags of some well-known countries. What a busy term we have ahead of us!
In our Literacy sessions we will continue to focus on some well known texts, such as: Zog, Jack and the Beanstalk and The Dragon Princess. In our RE sessions we will be learning all about Lent and the story of Jesus. Please make sure you visit our page often to see photographs of all the fun activities we have been doing in class!
What a fun day we had making pancakes as part of our Shrove Tuesday celebrations. We all got to have a taste of the pancakes and talked about what we need, and the method to make pancakes. They were delicious!!
