How Many Colours Are In A Rainbow?

Our Topic this tern is focused on colour. We will be thinking about how many colours are in a rainbow and investigating the way colours are used in art work, a famous artist and we will also have the opportunity to spend time cooking and creating some delicious and colourful delights! At the end of our topic we will be going on our first school trip to create our own pieces of ceramic art work! We can't wait!!

In our Literacy lessons this half term we will be focusing on a series of books centered around colour. Some of the books we will focus on this topic are The Rainbow Fish, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Mrs Rainbow, Elmer the Elephant and Blue Chameleon.

Our PE session will continue to be on a Wednesday, children will need to ensure they have their PE kits in school on this day to allow them to participate fully in these sessions, this includes appropriate footwear for indoor and outdoor sessions. If your child has their ears pierced then please ensure these are removed on a Wednesday for the PE session.
