Easter Holiday Homework

Our new topic next term is called Gods and Mortals which is all about Ancient Greece. I have attached the new topic homework and the knowledge organiser for you to start reading over the holidays.

I have also attached some reflections that you could do with your family on different days throughout the Easter holiday.

Please also keep logging on to Times Tables Rockstars to practise your times tables. Ours boys v girls battle is now over. Well done to the boys for winning! Well done to Jack for getting the most points for the boys and Lorna for getting the most points for the girls.

You might also want to go on Hit the Button during the holidays as you can choose which times table you want to practise on this. I would recommend recapping 3s, 4s and 8s for most of you but I know that some of you have already started learning other times tables. Remember you can also practise number bonds on Hit the Button.

Try to keep reading as often as you can. You could log in to Read Theory over the holidays and you also have log in details for Spelling Shed.

Please also complete your science quiz for the topic Forces and Magnets. You could read through the knowledge organiser first which is on the same document and then have a go at the quiz.

Our new author of the half term is Jeremy Strong. You could maybe do a bit of research on him to find out what kind of books he writes.

Well done for working so hard at home the last 2 weeks. I have been missing you all! Although it is different this year, enjoy your Easter break!

I will be uploading work again daily from Monday 20th April.
